A local family owned & operated company, Insect IQ was started by Entomologist Jonathan Simkins & his wife,Jessica. Jonathan received his B.Sc. Entomology degree from the world renowned University of Florida’s Urban Pest Management program, headed by Jon’s mentor, Dr. Phil Koehler. Jonathan then received State of Florida pest control operator certification #JF8248 and worked in the pest control industry for two years under another mentor, entomologist Bob Belmont, where he gained valuable field and operations experience.
Insect IQ was incorporated in 1996 providing full range of pest control services to residential and commercial clients. Over the nearly two decades, Insect IQ’s client list has grown and now includes Fortune 500 clients to small residential homes and all in-between. As President of Insect IQ, Jonathan is still very active in the company growth and the quality of service to their clients.
Providing pest control based on the latest entomology pest control research. An independent, local & family owned Florida company. Insect IQ carries full Commercial Insurances, Worker’s Compensation, and are fully licensed by the States of Florida & Kentucky to perform all pest control services.
