Nick kicked off our meeting with a practical and timely lesson on time blocking—a skill every professional can benefit from, but especially crucial in fast-paced industries like roofing during storm season. His insights reminded us that productivity isn’t about doing more, but about focusing on what matters most.
Nick gave us an excellent reminder about the importance of time blocking. His key points included:
- Create a schedule and stick to it
- Protect your top priorities
- Don’t let texts or emails steal your focus
- Ask yourself: What does your Monday look like? What’s the #1 priority?
- Multi-tasking can be counterproductive—focus matters
- For roofers during storm season, time blocking is absolutely critical
- Routines keep you anchored, even when things get busy
It was a great way to start the morning and gave everyone tools to think about how they manage their week.
